The history of GRISET is linked to the industrial heritage of France and in particular to its spectacular development towards the end of the eighteen century.
The metal rolling activity of Antoine GRISET started in the Marais area of Paris in 1760. A few years later, in 1825, GRISET was asked to manufacture the Standard Metre platinium bar. In 1880, GRISET has started the first industrial rolling trials of Aluminium. GRISET today remains a dynamic and innovative company in the casting and rolling of non ferrous metals. Its capacity, through GRISET ENGINEERING, to conceive its own production tooling, allows GRISET to remain on the top of the technological innovation in its field of activity. Joining the DIEHL GROUP in 1998 offered GRISET new opportunities for growth. In 2006, GRISET will become an international Company with a new facility set up in Malaysia for the production of dual gauge strips for power electronic applications and slitting of C194 for IC L/F.
